BayREN Multifamily Program

Energy Upgrade California’s Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements offers cash rebates and no-cost energy consulting for multifamily properties that undertake energy and water upgrades. The program assists in planning energy saving improvements designed to save 15% or more of a building’s energy and water usage and provides $750 per unit in rebates to help pay for the upgrade.

The Bay Area Regional Network (BayREN) provides regional-scale energy efficiency programs and services to reduce carbon emissions and promote healthy, energy-efficient buildings and homes.

BayREN Home+ is implemented by local county governments and available to homeowners and renters in nine counties:

SoCalGas Restaurant Refresh – Non-Residential Rebate and Incentive Program

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) offers non-residential equipment rebates to encourage energy efficiency. Restaurant Refresh makes it easy for restaurants to reduce operating costs and improve facility performance. The program combines enhanced rebates and performance incentives. Enhanced rebates are available for ovens, fryers, dishwashers, boilers, and more. A list of qualified equipment and rebate amounts can be found on the program website. Performance incentives are paid one year after installation.

Polluting Automobile Scrap & Salvage (PASS) Rebate Program - "Tune In Tune Up"

For eligible owners of 1995 and older vehicles which have been observed to have an emissions related issue at a Tune In Tune Up weekend event; opportunities are available through the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program (EFMP) and EFMP Plus Up (Plus Up) to replace the high emitting vehicle with a newer, more fuel efficient model. Incentives range from $2,500 to $9,500 depending on the household income level, residential status in a disadvantaged community, and the type of vehicle purchased.

Clean Green Yard Machines

The District is currently accepting applications for its Clean Green Yard Machines (CGYM) Rebate Program which provides incentives for Valley residents to replace their old gas lawn mowers in favor of nonpolluting electric lawn mowers. SDG&E (Gas) - Energy Efficiency Business Rebates

SDG&E offers incentive programs for businesses looking to improve their energy efficiency. Customers should contact SDG&E regarding eligibility and maximum incentive amounts.
