Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program

The Environmental Justice Collaborative Problem-Solving (EJCPS) Cooperative Agreement Program provides funding to support community-based organizations in their efforts to collaborate and partner with local stakeholder groups (e.g., local businesses and industry, local government, medical service providers, and academia) as they develop and implement community-driven solutions that address environmental and/or public health issues for underserved communities.

WaterSMART Drought Response Program

The Bureau of Reclamation's Drought Response Program supports a proactive approach to drought by providing assistance to water managers to: develop and update comprehensive drought plans, and implement projects that will build long-term resiliency to drought.

Natural Climate Solutions Accelerator Grant

The Nature Conservancy is announcing a request for proposals for two additional rounds of grant funding for projects with potential to substantially increase the use of natural climate solutions through the U.S. Natural Climate Solutions Accelerator program. This grant-funding program is focused on helping kick-start innovative and scalable approaches to capturing greenhouse gas emissions by using natural and working lands in the United States.

Partnership for Resilient Communities

This year the Institute for Sustainable Communities is growing the Partnership for Resilient Communities with a new round of funding that will allow us to add additional partners to the program’s cohort. This round of the PRC will include a six-month planning phase and a two-year implementation phase. This request for proposals is seeking 6-8 organizations to participate in the six-month planning phase, which will prepare them to advocate for and implement equitable climate resilience projects in their communities.

Patagonia Grants

Patagonia supports environmental organizations with bold, direct-action agendas and a commitment to long-term change. Because we believe that the most direct path to real change is through building grassroots momentum, our funding focuses on organizations that have or can create a strong base of support.

Urban Greening Grant Program

The California Natural Resources Agency will be accepting concept proposals for the Urban Greening Grant Program from January 8, 2019 through February 28, 2019. Approximately $19.0 million in awards will be funded by this program through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. Applicants submitting the most competitive proposals will be invited to participate in the next level of the competitive process, anticipated Spring 2019.

Environmental Justice Small Grants Program

The Environmental Justice Small Grants (EJSG) Program provides funding directly to community-based organizations for projects that help residents of underserved communities understand and address local environmental and public health issues. For purposes of this announcement, the term "underserved community" refers to a community with environmental justice concerns and/or vulnerable populations, including minority, low income, rural, tribal, indigenous, and homeless populations that may be disproportionately impacted by environmental harms and risks.
