Advancing Informal STEM Learning

The Advancing Informal STEM Learning (AISL) program seeks to advance new approaches to and evidence-based understanding of the design and development of STEM learning opportunities for the public in informal environments; provide multiple pathways for broadening access to and engagement in STEM learning experiences; and advance innovative research on and assessment of STEM learning in informal environments.

Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration

The AID Demonstration provides incentive funding for eligible entities to accelerate the implementation and adoption of innovation in highway transportation. The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) published on February 19, 2014 (https://federalregister.gov/a/2014-03452) requests grant applications for the AID Demonstration and provides selection criteria, application requirements, and technical assistance with Grants.gov during the grant solicitation period.

Nature of Learning and Friends Grants

A steering committee comprised of Fish and Wildlife Service and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation staff provide oversight of the Natural of Learning and Friends programs. The committee collaboratively works to request and select proposals for grants. This partnership has involved jointly soliciting and process proposals, hosting program web pages, and dedicating staff to evaluate and select projects.
