The 2017 Charge! EV Charging Stations Program - Bay Area AQMD (BAAQMD)

The Air District is pleased to announce the 2017 Charge! Program, an incentive program that offers grant funding to help offset a portion of the cost of purchasing, installing, and operating new publicly available charging stations at qualifying facilities within the Air District’s jurisdiction. The goal of the Charge! Program is to rapidly expand access to electric vehicle, or EV, charging stations in order to accelerate the Bay Area’s adoption of EVs and ultimately to achieve the region's EV deployment goals of 110,000 EVs by 2020 and 247,000 EVs by 2025. As of December, 2016, there are approximately 83,000 EVs registered to Bay Area drivers.
