Increasing Adoption of Emerging Clean Energy Technologies through Procurement

Increasing Adoption of Emerging Clean Energy Technologies through Procurement (GFO-17-301):

The purpose of this solicitation is to develop and scale-up new tools and resources to increase customer procurement of distributed energy resources (DER), including energy efficiency, renewable distributed generation, and distributed storage. This solicitation will help overcome barriers that energy technology developers and large institutional and commercial customers face in pursuing large-scale procurement of advanced DER technologies.

Projects must fall within the “market facilitation” stage, which includes activities such as program tracking, market research, education and outreach, regulatory assistance and streamlining, and workforce development to support clean energy technology and strategy deployment.
