California Conservation Corps - Energy Corps

The Energy Corps helps schools and public agencies save energy. Trained Corpsmembers conduct energy surveys and lighting and control retrofits in public buildings. Funding from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund enables the Energy Corps to offer these services at an economical rate. With locations in Norwalk, Fresno, Vista, and Sacramento, the Energy Corps accepts requests for service on a rolling basis.

USDA Assistance to High Energy Cost Communities

The Rural Utilities Service (RUS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), announces the availability of up to $10 million in competitive grants to assist communities with extremely high energy costs. The grant funds may be used to acquire, construct, or improve energy generation, transmission, or distribution facilities serving communities where the average annual residential expenditure for home energy exceeds 275% of the national average.

SMUD - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program - Lighting Controls/Sensors

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) offers a wide array of incentives for its commercial customers to increase the energy efficiency of their facilities. Rebates are available for a for lighting equipment and controls , HVAC systems and controls, motors, food service equipment, PC and Data management systems, refrigeration equipment and controls, and whole building measures .  In general, SMUD provides both custom and prescriptive ("Express") incentive packages for eligible measures.

SCE - Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Programs - Lighting Controls/Sensors

Southern California Edison (SCE) offers incentives for non-residential customers, regardless of size and energy usage. Express Efficiency rebates for lighting, refrigeration, food service, agricultural equipment, premium efficiency motors, and air conditioning technologies are available for various non-residential customer types. Applicants may complete the necessary forms that can be found on the program website.  For specific incentives under each non-residential category, see program web site. SCE also offers a Retro commissioning Program and Continuous Energy Improvement Program.

LADWP - Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Incentive Program - Lighting, Lighting Controls/Sensors, Chillers, Combined Heat & Power, Energy Mgmt. Systems/Building Controls, Comprehensive Measures/Whole Building, LED Lighting

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power offers prescriptive and custom incentives to non-residential customers for the installation of energy saving measures, equipment, or systems that exceed Title 24 or minimum industry standards. Custom incentives are based on estimation software that determines the energy savings for each project. Prior to beginning the project, customers should contact the utility for more information.
