Description

The U.S. Department of State’s (DOS) Office of the Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (NDF) seeks to award a grant(s) to an institution/institutions to support the mapping of proliferation networks and related illicit actors as well as their business, financial, and logistics networks associated with countries of concern that are or may be facilitating the current conflict in Ukraine, primarily Russia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and, but also potentially including others such as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Iran, Pakistan, and Syria, in order to assist partner countries in their counter-proliferation activities, and conduct bilateral, regional, or multilateral trainings and assistance activities to help partners identify and disrupt these networks. These activities may cover the full spectrum of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive applications, to include weapons, their delivery systems, related technologies, and other advanced conventional weapons and conventional weapons as necessary, required, and in accordance with Section 504 of the Freedom Support Act, as amended (22 U.S.C. 5854).
