Do you live in an apartment or manufactured home? Do you own or operate a multifamily or manufactured housing community? If so, we may have ways to help reduce  your energy costs by participating in the new innovative Residential Zero Net Energy Transformation (RZNET) program. 

The Residential Zero Net Energy Transformation (RZNET) program will  assist SDG&E multifamily and manufactured housing customers with navigating their path to zero net energy. 

What is Zero Net Energy(ZNE)?  ZNE is the total amount of energy used by the building on an annual basis is equal to or less than the amount of renewable energy (energy created by sources that are naturally replenished, such as wind, rain, or solar) created on-site.

RZNET allows you to connect with an Energy Advisor that will help you make informed decisions about how to achieve your energy efficiency goals. 

RZNET program participants on the path to zero net energy, begin with the installation of no-cost measures and a complimentary ASHRAE Level 1 audit. Information on advanced energy efficiency, solar PV installations, and battery storage opportunities for multifamily and manufactured housing properties is also available.

• Low flow aerators
• Pipe  (near water heater)
• Auto-diverting tub spout
• ECM furnace motor replacement
• Air conditioning tune-up
• Efficient fan control
• Smart thermostat

United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) Notice of Intent to Award. This is not a request for applications. This posting is to provide public notice of the NPS' intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition: Cooperative Agreement P20AC00705 with the Delta Protection Commission, for the project titled, "Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta National Heritage Area."

Administered through the U.S. Cultural Antiquities Task Force, Cultural Property Agreement Implementation Grants support projects that contribute to the implementation of provisions in emergency determinations or cultural property agreements between the United States and foreign governments. This competition is organized through U.S. embassies in countries with which the United States has a signed bilateral cultural property agreement or where emergency import restrictions on archaeological and ethnological material are in effect under the Convention on Cultural Property Implementation Act (19 U.S.C. 2601 et seq). Applications for projects that foster cooperation, build best practices, and engage communities through the following types of activities will be considered: training, inventories, site security and protection, public education and outreach for crime prevention, and supporting sustainable livelihoods.

Corpsmembers aged 18 – 25 years old complete a year of paid service and receive on-the-job training while completing projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  California Conservation Corps (CCC) projects include reforestation, forest fuel reduction, habitat restoration, urban greening and community forestry.

Individuals can apply to participate in the Forest Health CCC program and organizations can apply to provide projects for the Forest Health CCC program.

Attention San Joaquin Valley residents! The Valley Air District provides several great options to significantly reduce or even eliminate the pollution that comes from using your car.

This is a Notice of Intent only. The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to award a Cooperative Agreement to the International Labor Organization for a project to advance global and national efforts aimed at eliminating forced labor under the ILO Protocol 29 and Recommendation 203 on Forced Labor. The project will provide technical assistance to increase capacity at the global, regional, and country levels to combat forced labor, while helping to improve the global response to forced labor and increasing vulnerable workers’ access to forced labor remediation and justice. The program provides application assistance, partnership development and capacity building activities for eligible California Climate Investments applicants and is administered by the Strategic Growth Council to create more equitable opportunities by helping under-resourced applicants access funding.

The California Climate Investments Technical Assistance Program supports communities in applying to the California Climate Investments (CCI) funding programs. Created in 2016, the program aims to level the playing field for applicants that may lack the capacity to successfully access these funds, particularly those in that live in the state’s most disadvantaged communities. The Strategic Growth Council (SGC) works alongside a number of State agencies that implement CCI programs to provide application assistance, partnership development and capacity building activities to eligible applicants, enabling them to positively impact their communities. 

Each California Climate Investments program has its own set of goals and intended outcomes, meaning specific technical expertise is often required. In order to provide assistance that is tailored to each program, the SGC has divided resources amongst many of the agencies that administer programs. In many cases, technical assistance is provided through a partnership between state agencies and outside organizations with expertise in each program’s focus. A description of each of the participating CCI programs is listed below.
