AmeriCorps grants are awarded to eligible organizations proposing to engage AmeriCorps members in evidence-based or evidence-informed interventions to strengthen communities. An AmeriCorps member is an individual who engages in community service through an approved national service position. Members may receive a living allowance and other benefits while serving. Upon successful completion of their service, members earn a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award from the National Service Trust that members can use to pay for higher education expenses or apply to qualified student loans.

The Community Assistance Program - State Support Services element (CAP-SSSE) program provides funding to States to provide technical assistance to communities in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and to evaluate community performance in implementing NFIP floodplain management activities. Designation, duties, and responsibilities of State Coordinating Agencies are found in 44 CFR 60.25. These regulations identify the states commitment to the minimum floodplain management criteria and to demonstrate the capability and responsibility to implement the program. In this way, CAP-SSSE helps to; ensure that the flood loss reduction goals of the NFIP are met, build state and community floodplain management expertise and capability, and leverage state knowledge and expertise in working with their communities.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support studies that will identify, develop, and/or test strategies for overcoming barriers to the adoption, adaptation, integration, scale-up, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions, practices, programs, tools, treatments, guidelines, and policies. Studies that promote equitable dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions among underrepresented communities are encouraged. Conversely, there is a benefit in understanding circumstances that create a need to stop or reduce (de-implement) the use of practices that are ineffective, unproven, low-value, or harmful. In addition, studies to advance dissemination and implementation research methods and measures are encouraged. All applications must be within the scope of the mission of one of the Institutes/Centers listed above.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite applications for a Laboratory Core for the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) program. The ECHO Laboratory Core will provide leadership, project management, and infrastructure for all activities related to ECHO Cohort biospecimens and data generated from biospecimen assays. The main roles of the ECHO Laboratory Core are to: (1) facilitate ECHO Cohort biospecimen collection and processing; (2) manage the ECHO Cohort Biorepository; (3) perform or facilitate a wide range of biospecimen assays to support ECHO Cohort analyses; and (4) coordinate biospecimen information and assay results. This FOA runs in parallel with companion FOAs that solicit applications for Cohort Study Sites for follow-up of existing ECHO Cohort participants and for recruitment of new pregnant participants (RFA XXXX), for Cohort Study Sites only for follow-up of existing ECHO Cohort participants (RFA XXXX), for Cohort Study Sites only for recruitment of new pregnant participants (RFA XXXX), for an ECHO Coordinating Center (RFA XXXX), for an ECHO Data Analysis Center (RFA XXXX), and for an ECHO Measurement Core (RFA XXXX).

As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law's (BIL) broader ecosystem restoration objective, the non-federal lands portion of the invasive species provision enables the USDA-Forest Service, States, and other agencies to strategically sustain the health of forest ecosystems or tree species with high ecological value by taking stronger action in the early phases ofthe invasion curve at regional or sub-regional scales and at points of entry. Specifically, we aim towork collaboratively to scale-up the implementation of management actions in the field for the prevention of introductions or spread, prevention of damage, early detection of introductions, rapid response and eradication of invasive forest insects, worms, pathogens, and plants. It is expected that new projects will be complementary to existing cooperative and federal forest health protection programs and will sustain high value forest ecosystems or tree species (see, e.g., multi-state priority areas identified in State Forest Action Plans (SFAPs) or Northeast-Midwest State Foresters Alliance, Forest Health Committee (NMSFA FHC) 2021 priority needs document).

This funding opportunity announcement is designed to support biomedical knowledgebases. Biomedical knowledgebases under this announcement should have the primary function to extract, accumulate, organize, annotate, and link growing bodies of information related to core datasets. Support for data curation should include efficient and effective methods of curation that scale to the needs of community and include semi-automated methods.Support for software and tool development must be limited to that which provides essential functions or significantly increases the efficiency of operation of the knowledgebase. Applications that have a significant focus on software and tool development are not appropriate for this activity.

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to provide investigators with access to resources provided by the Data Management Coordinating Center for Diagnostic Centers of Excellence (RFA-NS-22-051), as part of the next phase of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network. Resources include infrastructure, data management, and clinical research support for a new Network of clinical sites that provide diagnostic services for patients with undiagnosed diseases.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement encourages applications using community-engaged research methods to investigate the potential health risks of environmental exposures of concern to the community and to implement an environmental public health action plan based on research findings. The overall goal is to inform and support efforts to prevent or reduce exposure to harmful environmental exposures and improve the health of a community.

The ORWH and participating organizations and institutes seek applications for Specialized Centers of Research Excellence (SCORE) on Sex Differences. The Centers of Excellence will support interdisciplinary approaches to advance translational research on sex differences. Each SCORE institution should develop a research agenda bridging basic and clinical research underlying a health issue that is pertinent to improving the health of women.
