This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits grant applications proposing exploratory research projects focused on further development and validation of emerging technologies offering novel capabilities for targeting, probing, or assessing molecular and cellular features of cancer biology for basic or clinical cancer research. This FOA solicits R33 applications where major feasibility gaps for the technology or methodology have been overcome, as demonstrated with supportive preliminary data, but still requires further development and rigorous validation to encourage adoption by the research community. Well-suited applications must offer the potential to accelerate and/or enhance research in the areas of cancer biology, early detection and screening, clinical diagnosis, treatment, control, epidemiology, and/or address issues associated with cancer health disparities. Technologies proposed for development may be intended to have widespread applicability but must be focused on improving molecular and/or cellular characterizations of cancer. Projects proposing application of existing technologies where the novelty resides in the biological or clinical target/question being pursued are not appropriate for this solicitation and will not be reviewed.This funding opportunity is part of a broader NCI-sponsored Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT) Program.

Advanced Development of Informatics Technologies for Cancer Research and Management (U24 Clinical Trial Optional) $600,000.00

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite Cooperative Agreement (U24) applications for advanced development and enhancement of emerging informatics technologies to improve the acquisition, management, analysis, and dissemination of data and knowledge across the cancer research continuum including cancer biology, cancer treatment and diagnosis, early cancer detection, risk assessment and prevention, cancer control and epidemiology, and/or cancer health disparities. As a component of the NCI's Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR) Program, this FOA focuses on emerging informatics technology, defined as one that has passed the initial prototyping and pilot development stage, has demonstrated potential to have a significant and broader impact, has compelling reasons for further improvement and enhancement, and has not been widely adopted in the cancer research field. The central mission of ITCR is to promote research-driven informatics technology across the development lifecycle to address priority needs in cancer research. In order to be successful, proposed development plans must have a clear rationale on why the proposed technology is needed and how it will benefit the cancer research field. In addition, mechanisms to solicit feedback from users and collaborators throughout the development process must be included. Advanced Training in Artificial Intelligence for Precision Nutrition Science Research (AIPrN) Institutional Research Training Programs (T32) Varies

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Nutrition Research (ONR) and participating NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs) intend to publish a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for new applications that will support new institutional research training programs (predoctoral, postdoctoral or both) in artificial intelligence (AI) for precision nutrition (AIPrN) that will focus on integration of the domains of precision nutrition, AI including machine learning (ML), systems biology, systems science, Big Data, and computational analytics. The goal is to build a future workforce that will be able to use growing data resources to tackle complex biomedical challenges in nutrition science that are beyond human intuition. It is hoped such research will lead to the development of innovative solutions to combat diet-related chronic diseases within the mission areas of the participating ICs. The vision of the AIPrN training program is to support the development of a diverse research workforce capable who will possess advanced competencies in AI including machine learning and data science analytics to apply to an increasingly complex landscape of Big Data from the molecular, to organismal, to community and societal scales related to nutrition and diet related conditions.

Advancing Integrated Models (AIM) of Care to Improve Pregnancy Outcomes among Women Who Experience Persistent Disparities (R01 Clinical Trial Optional) Varies

Disparities in maternal health outcomes is a public health crisis that requires new insights and solutions. The purpose of this initiativeadvancing integrated models (AIM) of careis to stimulate research to develop or evaluate supportive care models that address healthcare access or healthcare quality together with structural or social inequities in order to prevent adverse maternal health outcomes among racial and ethnic minority women. This includes original intervention research and research evaluating the impact of federal, tribal, state, local, or organizational policies and programs on maternal health outcomes. Outcomes of interest include pregnancy-related morbidity (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cerebrovascular disease, mental illness) including severe maternal morbidity; pregnancy-associated factors (e.g., violence exposure including firearm violence, substance use disorders, dietary patterns), and maternal mortality.

Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program $1,000,000.00

The FCC issues this NOFO to describe the requirements under which it will award grants for the NCOP and the TCOP. A separate NOFO will be issued for the ACP Outreach Grant Program – Pilot Programs, YHYI and NPP. The ACP Outreach Grant Program is one tool among a comprehensive set of measures authorized by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021(Infrastructure Act) and implemented by the FCC to help bridge the digital divide. AL NRCS Outreach and Education, FY2023 $60,000.00

The NRCS, an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with likeminded natural resource conservation partners. The overall intent of this solicitation is to solicit partnerships to help enhance the implementation of key outreach projects for Fiscal Year 2023.
