Funding Opportunity Announcement: Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers and Veteran Farmers and Ranchers $450,000.00

The overall goal of the 2501 Program is to encourage and assist socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers, veteran farmers and ranchers, and beginning farmers and ranchers with owning and operating farms and ranches and in participating equitably in the full range of agricultural, forestry, and related programs offered by USDA. In partnership with the OPPE, eligible entities may compete for funding on projects that provide education and training in agriculture, agribusiness, forestry, agriculturally related services, and USDA programs and to conduct outreach initiatives designed to accomplish those goals. Community Connect Grant Program $3,000,000.00

The Community Connect Grant Program provides financial assistance to eligible applicants that will provide service at or above the Broadband Grant Speed to all premises in rural, economically-challenged communities where broadband service does not exist. The deployment of broadband services on a “community-oriented connectivity” basis stimulates economic development and provides enhanced educational and health care opportunities in rural areas. RUS will give priority to rural areas that demonstrate the greatest need for broadband services, based on the criteria contained herein. All applicants should carefully review and prepare their applications according to instructions in the FY 2021 Community Connect Grant Program Application Guide (Application Guide) and program resources. Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) FY 2021 Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) The HFTO FY21 FOA will build upon the FY19 H2@Scale and FY20 H2@Scale New Markets FOAs by enhancing the performance and durability and reducing cost of heavy duty (HD) fuel cell components, expanding hydrogen production via high-temperature electrolysis and biological-based waste conversion technologies, growing the domestic supply chain for HD hydrogen fueling stations, and cost analysis for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Program to Support Tribal Climate Resilience Grants and Ocean and Coastal Management Planning Grants $150,000.00

SUMMARY: The Secretary of the Interior (Secretary), through the Office of Trust Services, Tribal Climate Resilience Program (Program) solicits proposals from federally recognized tribes and tribal organizations as defined at 25 U.S.C. section 5304(l) to receive grants to support tribal resilience and ocean and coastal management and planning. The Program supports tribes as they prepare for climate change impacts on tribal treaty and trust resources, economies, infrastructure, and human health and safety. The Program will provide funding for projects that support tribal climate resilience as tribes incorporate science (including Traditional Knowledge) and technical information. The Program also supports tribal ocean and coastal management and planning. This solicitation contains guidelines and instructions for writing and submitting a proposal. BIA will use a competitive evaluation process based on criteria as stated in Section F. Categories of Funding, Review Criteria and Evaluation of this notice to select projects for funding.
