Northern Sierra AQMD Carl Moyer Program No Due Date Given Varies

Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program provides incentive grants for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment and other sources of pollution providing early or extra emission reductions. Eligible projects include cleaner on-road, off-road and stationary agricultural pump engines. The program achieves near-term reductions in emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and reactive organic gas (ROG) which are necessary for California to meet its clean air commitments under the State Implementation Plan. NOx and ROG combine in the presence of sunlight to form ozone (smog), while PM, a component of diesel exhaust, has been identified as a toxic air contaminant by the Air Resources Board. Additional information can be found at the ARB website

Colusa County APCD Woodstove Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Woodstove Reduction Program (Program) is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts cap-and-trade dollars to work. The Program is designed to help households replace a non-EPA certified wood stove or insert used as a primary source of heat with a cleaner burning and more efficient device. Open hearth fireplaces may be eligible for the Program if the fireplace is used as a primary source of heat. This Program will offer Vouchers towards the purchase and installation of a new EPA-certified woodstove, fireplace wood insert, gas (natural gas or propane), or electric device.

Northern Sierra AQMD Wood Stove Change-Out Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Air District is offering a change-out program to qualified homeowners within the Greater Portola PM2.5 Non-attainment Area in Plumas County, California for replacement of non-EPA certified wood stoves with new, efficient, cleaner burning EPA certified devices.  This program is funded by the U.S. EPA’s 2015 Targeted Air Shed Grant Program, the District’s AB2766 program and other agencies.  This 5-year voluntary program is only available to residents within the non-attainment area.

Vanpool Voucher Incentive Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Vanpool Voucher Incentive Program (VVIP) provides subsidies to Valley residents to participate in vanpools in lieu of using single occupant vehicle commutes. The purpose of the VVIP is to encourage commuter rideshare practices among frequent long distance (greater than 20 miles) riders in the San Joaquin Valley. Eastern Kern APCD DMV Grant Program No Due Date Given Varies

The District’s 2021 DMV Grant Program offers up to $50,000 for eligible projects which include:  Paving Dirt Roads to reduce fugitive dust emissions cause by vehicle travel, Installation of publically accessible Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station, Installation of publically accessible CNG Refilling Station, Alternative Fuel Mechanics Training, Public Education Courses, and Innovative Vehicle-Related Emission Reduction Proposal.

Monterey Bay Zero Emission School Bus Program No Due Date Given Varies

This is a fleet enhancement program and does not require replacement of existing fleet buses. Eligible applicants are any public school district, Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) school, or contractor operating school buses for those public schools.

The ZESBP award will be in the form of an executed grant agreement between the school district and MBARD and will be funded in combination from various sources : AB617, AB923, Carl Moyer Program, Local Offsite Mitigation fees, the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), or Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP) funds. MBCP is helping to move the program foward by contributing $1.2 Million in total funds. Six electric school bus projects will each receive $200,000 from MBCP's contribution and the rest of the funding will be supported by MBARD grant funds.
