IID Energy - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program | $5,000.00 | Imperial Irrigation District Energy offers incentives to residential customers to encourage energy efficiency. This incentive takes the form of rebates offered for qualifying energy efficient appliances and building improvements. Rebates are only available for existing homes. New construction homes do not qualify. Rebates are not guaranteed and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rebates are available on attic insulation, attic fans, ENERGY STAR refrigerators, ENERGY STAR dual pane windows, room air conditioners, ENERGY STAR clothes washers, central air conditioners, heat pumps, shade screens, evaporative cooler, radiant barriers, ductless mini-split systems, and variable speed pool pumps. Most rebates are offered on a per unit basis, with the exception of central air conditioners, heat pumps, attic insulation, shade screens, radiant barriers, and windows, which are based on system size. To be eligible for these rebates, IID residential customers need to mail in a completed application and copies of receipts/invoices. The Woodsmoke Reduction Program is part of a statewide program supported by the “California Climate Investments” (CCI) program that provides grants, as shown in the table below, to qualified applicants who replace existing wood burning stoves or fireplaces that are used as a primary source of heat in their home.
