Lassen County APCD Carl Moyer Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Lassen County Air Pollution Control District (Air District) is currently accepting application packets for Year 22 of the Carl Moyer Program. Applications can be submitted now through August 30, 2020. A Carl Moyer Application can be found below.

In Lassen County the Carl Moyer Program provide grant funding for qualifying projects. Applicants must obtain approval and have a signed, executed contract from the Air District prior to purchase and installation of any qualifying equipment. Any equipment purchased or installed prior to contract execution is ineligible. 

Eligible funding categories include:

  • Agricultural diesel engine projects (i.e. tractors, forklifts, baler, agricultural pumps, etc.)
  • On and off-road diesel projects (i.e. filters and/or replacements)

Modoc County APCD FARMER Program No Due Date Given Varies

FARMER program is to help California's agricultural industry to reduce emissions to help meet federal ozone and particulate matter air quality standards. Applicants can apply to Off-Road Agricultural Equipment, On-Road Agricultural Truck, Zero-Emission Agricultural UTV, and Infrastructure. Monterey Bay Zero Emission School Bus Program No Due Date Given Varies

This is a fleet enhancement program and does not require replacement of existing fleet buses. Eligible applicants are any public school district, Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) school, or contractor operating school buses for those public schools.

The ZESBP award will be in the form of an executed grant agreement between the school district and MBARD and will be funded in combination from various sources : AB617, AB923, Carl Moyer Program, Local Offsite Mitigation fees, the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), or Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP) funds. MBCP is helping to move the program foward by contributing $1.2 Million in total funds. Six electric school bus projects will each receive $200,000 from MBCP's contribution and the rest of the funding will be supported by MBARD grant funds.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Residential Electric Vehicle Incentives No Due Date Given Varies

  • $599 incentive to charge free for two years (approximately covers the average cost to charge your plug-in electric vehicle for two years), or

Tuolumne County APCD Carl Moyer Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program provides incentive grants for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment, and other sources of pollution providing early or extra emission reductions. Eligible projects include cleaner on-road, off-road, marine, locomotive, and stationary agricultural pump engines. The program provides monetary grants to private companies and public agencies to clean up their heavy-duty engines beyond that required by law through retrofitting, re-powering, or replacing their engines with newer and cleaner engines.

Placer County APCD Carl Moyer Program No Due Date Given Varies

The Carl Moyer Program provides monetary grants to private companies and public agencies to clean up their heavy-duty engines beyond that required by law or regulation, through repowering, replacing or retrofitting their engines, vehicles or equipment. Moyer grants also fund infrastructure projects to support California’s transformation toward zero and near-zero technologies.

Colton Electric Used EV Rebate Program No Due Date Given Varies

Own a Used Electric Vehicle?

Electric vehicle (EV) owners under Colton Electric service territory are eligible to receive a $1,000 rebate. Customers enrolled in the low-income program are eligible to receive an increase rebate of $1,500.

Rebate Program Guidelines

  • Applicant must be a Colton Electric Utility residential customer
  • The EV must be registered to a residence serviced under Colton Electric Utility territory
  • Must provide copy of of purchase of lease agreement of an electric vehicle/plug-in vehicle
  • Must provide copy of permanent vehicle registration
  • Must provide copy of most recent utility bill demonstrating residency at the address on the application
  • The incentive offer is on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued
  • Maximum of one EV Rebate per household

Santa Barbara County Clean Air Grants No Due Date Given Varies

The Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District is providing grant funds to benefit public health by cost-effectively replacing old, high-polluting equipment with newer, cleaner equipment earlier than required by regulation or through normal attrition.

The grant funds come from the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) Carl Moyer Program, Community Air Protection Program, Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program, and California Department of Motor Vehicles surcharge revenue.

These grant programs generally follow CARB 2017 Carl Moyer Program Guidelines, Community Air Protection Project Guidelines, FARMER Guidelines, or other CARB guidelines. All funded projects in the following six project categories must comply with the requirements found within the guidelines for the specific program, including cost-effectiveness thresholds.

California Clean Fuel Reward Program No Due Date Given $750.00

YOU COULD SAVE UP TO $750 ON ELIGIBLE EVs
The California Clean Fuel Reward is available to anyone who buys or leases a new electric vehicle with a battery capacity greater than 5 kWh from a participating automotive retailer. The customer must register the vehicle in California and the customer must reside in California. 

The California Air Resources Board and your electric utility want to make it easier to own an EV. That’s why we’re providing the California Clean Fuel Reward to people who purchase or lease an eligible* new Battery Electric (BEV) or Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) vehicle at participating automotive retailers. This is on top of any applicable federal, state, and local incentives, rebates, and tax credits.
